Server Version: 1.17.0.1709 Running on Ubuntu 18.04
Player Version#: 3.104.2
Since upgrading to server version 1.17.0.1709 I am unable to watch live tv. All I get is “Unable to tune channel …” I have removed and re-added the DVR several times with no effect. The tuner does work if I roll back to version 1.16.6.1592… I also installed Emby to give it a shot as well which also works. The only indication that I get in the logs is:
Sep 22, 2019 14:23:05.029 [0x7fc678ff9700] ERROR - [Transcoder] http://10.10.10.254:34400/stream/9b2e33f838261b3f98265866bf4c4afe: Server returned 404 Not Found
If a copy the link from the log file and go enter it in a web browser it loads and starts downloading the .ts file.
Guess no one else is seeing this behavior. I’ve just downgraded back to the 1.16 series and all is well, for some reason the 1.17 release doesn’t like my setup I guess.
Thanks! I had looked around and found references to older versions, guess I overlooked the new ones. At least I know I’m not alone. I noticed in the changelog that there was a ‘fix’ for url’s with spaces which mine don’t contain. Wonder if they broke something when they implemented that ‘fix’.
Same issue here. Brand new setup with the HDHomeRun Extend using “Highest Quality” setting as recommended in the Plex guide.
Just upgraded to 1.17.0.1709 and lost all Live TV & DVR streaming.
Just to let everyone know, I just installed the latest beta (1.18.0.1846-f62172e99) and it’s working as expected now. I didn’t see anything about it in the changelog, but they’ve fixed something to make the tuner work.
