Unable to Update Player for Mac Desktop app

Player Version#: 1.83.1
When I relaunch the Mac Player version and it tries to update I get this message. How do I deal with this? Should I delete the existing file?

There was a problem installing the update:

Unable to create symlink /Applications/Plex.app.new/Contents/Resources/qml/QtQml/Models/libmodelsplugin.dylib to …/…/…/…/PlugIns/quick/libmodelsplugin.dylib details: File exists
