Not able to tune into a channel to view and recording is no longer working either. Running a Silicone Dust 2 tuner. Was working fine prior to the recent server update. When selecting a channel it just spins and then gives the error “unable to tune to channel”. If another instance of plex is opened in another browser, the activity reflects “Recording Live TV session” when nothing is being recorded.
I have uninstalled the tuner and reinstalled- Same issue.
Uninstalled server software and reinstalled- Same issue.
Uninstalled server software, deleted local date, deleted registry key and reinstalled - Same issue.
I have tested the tuner on another PC it works fine using plex.
Tested this PC using the HD homerun software and tunes just fine.
It seems that plex is reading some sort of recording in progress on this pc and will not tune the channel or record as scheduled.
I have deleted any .grab folder that may have lingering data. Really stumped as to what might be causing this, especially with deleting the local data and the registry and doing an fresh install. Is there another place that I may have missed with deleting information for a fresh install?
