Unable to view content on server

I (stupidly) reset my LG TV on Wednesday, because if I tried to use search to find a video, it wouldn’t show any of my videos (I was able to search on the Plex Desktop on my PC and find them) and since then I have been unable to use Plex on my TV.
At the moment (I have uninstalled/reinstalled the Plex app on my TV about 20 times) I am sometimes getting all the thumbnails but when I press play I get black screen/spinning circle and then I am met with “Playback Error”.
I have read some of the support articles and one mentions turning off and on the VPN, which I have, but sometimes when I have done this and start up the TV app there’s nothing on my home screen. I would like to watch my content/Plex on my TV again but it seems at the moment that’s impossible.
Just a side-note I have Kaspersky Premium installed on my PC but I’ve gone into the firewall application rules and found all instances of Plex and marked them all as Allow but it’s not made any difference.
In case it makes any difference my TV is hard wired to my router and then hard wired to my PC.
Please Help I’m at the end of my tether!
