I get this screen when trying to view Live TV & DVR.
I’m having the same issue.
Same issue, same error, same versions of both the server and the player. I can still watch live tv and access DVR stuff through the Web app. Running macOS Catalina 10.15.

Does anyone else also see the “Home screen” flash regularly if just left alone? like it’s updating it’s self every 30 seconds or so.
Same issue. Apple TV & IOS apps all work.
Same issue here. Works on media server but not on Mac OS player.
An updated version is being tested internally which should fix this; no ETA on the release…
Looks like this version, Plex Media Player Version 3.104.2, fixes this problem.
This is not the same as the Player for Mac (Player Version#: 1.3.1.916-1cb2c34d) per your post starting this thread.
An update for the Player for Mac and Player for Windows versions has not been released yet. Further, Plex Media Player didn’t have this issue at all

Yes you can.
This, version 1.4.0.924-60046db9, of the Plex Desktop Client fixes the problem.
