I have redacted internal and external IP’s from the logs. Plex_Debug_Log.txt (139.2 KB)
When I try to pull up a Live Channel, the loading icon spins and a background loads. then an error shows stating that “Playback error: This live tv session has ended”.
Did you recently change routers (or router configuration) or renumber your network? You mention using a /16 network but all your requests show as coming from the WAN (your public IP address). This could mean that there’s a DNS rebinding protection issue. The reason this matters is that it will apply any remote bandwidth restrictions you may have configured. You can configure PMS to treat your WAN IP address as local in its network settings.
99% of requests for live TV will be from my WAN connection. I use it when I’m out and about. I have tried “locally” on the server with multiple browsers. Any other suggestions?
Have you cycled at the same time your devices. HDHomeRun, Router/ Modem and any switches, Server. Checked the OTA Aerial connection and or Booster, Re mapped your Channels to your location or try an over lapping source area. Do not have a VPN active, even split tunnel ( check settings).
Have done all these things, finally, and still no dice. The DVR portion is still recording and if I go to the resulting recording in File Explorer (outside of Plex) I can play the file. However, I can’t play live or recorded shows on/through plex.
