Unale to connect with any device (server unavailable)

I don’t know what I did, or what was done, but I can’t access my PMS from anywhere any longer. Roku, VR goggles, etc - all have “server unavailable”. What’s going on and how do I fix it?

I went into Settings, Devices, and deleted all except the “PMS” and current browser - no joy.

Could it be possible that Windows 10 is f’n with it? Every damned time I access the PMS device that stupid OS is insisting on yet another update. Iv’e shut every damned auto-update setting of (group policies, metered connection, etc), and it still wants to do a damned update. Could that be shutting the server down on me?

Help!

Verify that your network connection hasn’t been switched to ‘public’ by Windows.
It tends to do that after an upgrade or after switching routers.

It needs to be classified as ‘private’.

Damned these a*holes! Don’t they ever (stupid question, I know) actually use what they program? Win10 would actually not be that bad an OS except for this apparent changing wifi security levels and plus the asinine mandatory windows update. Arg. Going to have to go back to Win7 so I actually have control.

Thank you, Otto, that was it.

Otto,

How/where verify this?

Thanks,
Mark
