I need your help. When I try to play a file on my Plex app via my Synology NAS I get the following message.
“Unavailable Media
The Plex Server can’t find or access the media file for this library item at the expected location.”
I have tried this solution:
"1. Open Control Panel → Shared Folders →

Select your media folder and click Edit → Permission tab

Select “System Internal User” in the dropdown

Find ‘PlexMediaServer’ user and select “Read/Write” or “Read Only” access depends on your needs

Go to Plex application and Scan Library Files one more time. Problem solved."
However in step 2 I can’t even find the folder I need under Shared Folders.
Does anyone know what I can do?
I have recently renamed some of the folders on my Synology NAS from ‘TV Shows’ to ‘Shows’ for instance. It looks like it’s only the folders that have new names that are causing issues.
