Hi there, please forgive me if i do this wrong I am new to the forum and plex and have set up my server and friends as users myself but am not what you would call overly computer literate but seem to get by you tube and google.
My friends/users have been remotely accessing my server fine. However 1 friend wo accesses from there LG tv was able to see and play from my media server but now all of a sudden for some unknown reason they get a message saying the server is unavailable and yet I can access it remotely and it seems most of my other friends/users can also.
I am not sure how to resolve this for them.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Server runs on media server running windows 10 pro and 64 bit
Have static IP (private), and manually specified public port.
Head to Settings > Network
Change Secure connections from Required to Preferred
See this note below this setting: When set to “Required”, some unencrypted connections (originating from the Media Server computer) will still be allowed and apps that don’t support secure connections will not be able to connect at all.
In Laymans terms:
The encryption may be “too strong” for some remote users and this will cause their connections to fail when attempting to access your server.
Hi Savio, yeah it was on “preferred” and i changed it to disabled and that still didn’t help so must be the tv issue as Otto has mentioned above.
