I migrated to a new Plex server over the weekend and spent a while wondering why no metadata/artwork was downloading for my TV library before finding about this problem on here. I thus figured this was the problem and left it until it was resolved.
Now it’s reported to be fixed, I’m still not retrieving anything so I’m starting to wonder if I have another problem.
In the logs, I’m seeing loads of “INFO (logkit:16) - HTTP Error 403: Forbidden” messages when trying to retrieve JPG files from thetvdb.com.
Is this related to this problem or is something else wrong?
@Toby_Groves based on what I have read, a fix has been put in place to allow download of show information (episode descriptions, actor info, etc.), but there is still an issue that the TVDB team is working on pertaining to downloading Poster Art. That I have seen no, ETA on when Poster Art will be working again.
@Jlolley01 Thanks for that. Yeah I appreciate they’re working on it and it’ll be fixed when it’s fixed, I was just wondering whether my issue was actually something different that I should be looking into.
I’m starting to get a few sporadic bits appearing now so it looks like it is part of this issue so I’ll just leave it and see what happens
@audiomixer yeah I am still only getting show art at the tv show level. Nothing at the individual show season level yet so that leads me to believe they are still working through some issues. I’m running PMS on. Win 10 setup so I don’t think I’m much help in regard to your Synology issue. I would say just hold tight things seem to be improving so hopefully they will resolve your issue soon.
