I was having this issue where it would let me play PLEX content but not my server or my friends. I could select and navigate but once I pressed play it would just buffer.
Only when I went to User and exited “Early Access” did this problem go away. I hope this problem stays gone.
Hard to even pin this error down without some more detailed input on what exactly happens. I’m not really sure what you mean by you can play Plex content (is this Plex web shows, news, podcasts, video on demand…?) but not from your server or (I suppose) shared content from your friends? Are you getting any specific error messages?
Most importantly… what kind of smart tv are we talking about (make, model)?
