It would be great to be able to view all of my movies which are on my server in addition to those I’ve purchased in Vudu, appleTV, prime, etc.
The Discover feature probably has the many of the necessary problems solved. I would like it to store the meta data of the movies I own across services and present that as a unified view in my libraries.
It could be a manual sync of say myVudu movies, pull in all of the meta data. Then I could update the posters and when I want to watch one it launches vudu. Then I could launch it myself from there.

There’s already an existing feature suggestion thread discussing an option to add items from Discover to your own libraries (e.g. based on a default service). I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
