This may have already been asked, but I can’t find it.
Does the UNO interface not work on the Tivo Premiere boxes? I assume not, because of their age, but wanted an “official” answer
Thanks in advance.

Currently TiVo isn’t listed as a supported platform for UNO https://support.plex.tv/articles/navigating-the-big-screen-apps/
Now if/when that will come to be is up to Plex and they aren’t known for posting timelines or ETAs or even if…
Does the Tivo not use the Smart TV client, which does have UNO?
I wasn’t aware of a Plex client for TiVo hardware at all.
Or are these just standard Android boxes?

There is no “Smart TV” single client – each platform is different (e.g. Sony is different than Samsung is different than Vizio) – unless the TV is using one of the common platforms as outlined in Otto’s link above.
I’m referring to the “Plex for Smart TVs & Tivo” - Plex for Smart TVs & TiVo.
Is that not what Tivo uses?
Based on your link, yes, that sounds about right. But according to that thread, UNO hasn’t been released on TiVo though it has been on OTHER Smart TVs (which was my point).
Like any computer, a TiVo set uses an operating system ( OS ) to manage the set’s resources and applications. TiVo’s OS is based on Linux, and the modifications to the Linux kernel operating system are available to the general public on request.
For Example: LG uses LG WebOS, Sony uses SmartCast, Samsung uses Tizen.
UNO is a UI/ User interface or a style, OS is an Operating System. So each Client would have its own API Application Programming Interface. As mentioned above Tivo is close to end of life.
Ah, now I get it.
