This has been an issue for me over many versions of the Plex Server and the Roku agent, specifically the unplayed count that shows on the poster is impossible to read from across the room. The contrast between the two colors is not high enough, and the number is just too small. I can’t seem to find any information on how to fix this on the Roku player. I have seen some older posts that seemed to be how to fix this on the web player.
Plex is great, but this has been a nagging complaint for a long period of time. I have to assume I am not alone in this.
A lot of the tv players have this issue, I have roku, apple tv, fire tv, xbox one, and ps4 plex clients, and all of them give me issues with various fonts being to small to read depending on where you are sitting. I know they have to put some restrictions on font size, so the whole interface doesn’t just break when someone size is set to large, but some control over the size of the font in the UI would be great.
I’m ordering the PlexVision Spotter-Pod Attachment 'cause that rascal is getting heavier every day it seems.
I was hoping to only use it until someone that matters at Plex HQ’s vision got as bad as mine (ours?), but apparently if that happens the others eat him and he’s replaced by a younger version.
This kind of nonsense is what happens when a 20 year old developer develops those annoying multiple dropdowns, teenie dropdowns, you have to try to keep open so you can get to the next one, and then next one, and so on…
… and one day I hope some teenage developer out there grows up and can’t order his blood pressure medication through one of those things, finally finding out what all the fuss was about…
