I’m always disappointed when I check for updates within Plex, and it claims there are none, and then I go to the site and there is one. It’s happened a few times.
It happened again today, as I spent an hour trying to figure out why Plex’s scanner wasn’t seeing the latest episode of a show. Post update, it worked as it should.

What version did you update from and update to?
I have the opposite problem: it’s always telling me there’s an update even when there isn’t. 
So I ignore it completely and have a separate system up that emails me when there’s an update.

It happened (again!) today. I had 9.16.x, while 9.17.x is available for download.
