After updating my Plex Server to Version 1.1.3.2700 today I have been having constant playback issues. Everything from network is not fast enough messages to audio playing while the video is frozen. I have not changed anything on my end where I have been able to play 4K videos from my server to TV, but now the same setup is not good enough for simple 1080P videos. I tried limiting the speed and I am still having issues. Is anyone else having issues? I am using a Windows 10 PC for the server and a Sony 850D which is running Android TV as the distant end.
I had the same problem and tried every fix from firewall settings to hard drive space etc…basically every solution I could find on the forums and nothing works.
I was able to get everything working again by deleting my libraries from the plex app (desktop server) and re-adding them. Pretty annoying bug but I hope this helps you not spend 5+ hours to fix.
nevermind. It worked for one video temporarily and now nothing works again… 
ugh i will never update plex again
