The other day I started adding/updating collections for my library so when the awesome new features make there way to my roku and iOS players I’ll be ready.
Anyway i noticed that I had a couple of collections that I thought I had deleted before, and deleted them again, only to find that they showed up again today. I already had ‘Use collection info from The Movie Database’ unchecked in both the Plex Movie and The Movie Database agent categories, so I think that these categories might be making there way from the local assets since they are m4v files i converted a while ago.
So I can either 1. delete the category tag from the file, or 2. turn off local media assets. I found in the past if i turned off local media assets it would stop finding my srt and trailer files, and I don’t want that. So does anyone know how I can keep my subtitles but skip the metadata in local files… or know what the name of the moov atom is that Plex is scraping collections from?
