Unwatched triangle persists in movie view

Server Version#: 1.25.5.5492 (Linux)
Player Version#: 1.40.1.2823-6f60f3a7 (Plex for Windows)

Seems like a regression crept into the recent Plex for Windows update. I added a new movie just now after updating Plex for Windows and the movie was marked unplayed as expected. I’d watched it already, so I clicked “Mark as Played”. The orange “unplayed” triangle disappears in the library view but persists in the movie view. Toggling the status (in either view) toggles the triangle in the library correctly but the movie view always shows the triangle. This only happens for the movie I just added. All of my existing titles toggle correctly in both views. The new movie displays the played status correctly in other Plex apps - only the PC player view is incorrect. Removing the movie, emptying trash, and re-adding it doesn’t change the behavior.

Seems like the database on the server side is being updated correctly and this is just a display bug in the PC client. But then it’s weird that it only happens with the new movie and not the older ones.

edit: Added another movie just now and it has the same behavior.

I’m seeing this same issue.

Server: Version 1.25.6.5577 Unraid
Player: Version 1.41.0.2876-e960c9ca

Just noticed… doing a Refresh Metadata on an old library entry that used to work correctly will trigger this buggy behavior.

Same issue here in the Windows App.

Plex Media Server (Debian 11)
Version 1.25.6.5577

Plex for Windows
Version 1.41.0.2876-e960c9ca

Plex Web is OK, no issue there. (Version 4.76.1)

The issue appears to have been fixed in the update pushed out today.
