Whenever I do an update, I click download, click update, and then the screen tells me that it will take a while.
The thing is, I eventually discovered that once it reaches that point it will never tell me it’s finished. It seems that Plex just kills the running instance, does an update, and then that’s it. If I restart Plex then I see I have the latest version, but it’s up to me to restart it and find that out.
Either Plex should restart the server and then tell me the update is completed, which would be the ideal, or there should just be a message saying “restart Plex in a few minutes.” The current system is not good.
