Server Version#: 1.14.0.5470-9d51fdfaa
macOS: 10.14.1
I ran the updater from 1.13.5.5332 to 1.14.0.5470 from the web UI, and then I remember it saying there was some sort of error. So I quit the server, and then after that I’ve not been able to get the server to run because it keeps crashing on launch.
This is the error message in console:
Plex DLNA Server[1791:97875] NEPTUNE_LOG_CONFIG not found in 'Info.plist'
****** PLEX MEDIA SERVER CRASHED, CRASH REPORT WRITTEN: F750F2BA-855D-46B1-9347-4AFB2214CFAD
I’d really prefer not to uninstall and lose all my metadata. Reinstalling the 1.14.0.5470 app from the official download page makes no difference.
Any other steps I can try? I’m not sure how I can roll back to the previous version, but I’d be happy to do that if instructions were available.
Thanks, but how do I downgrade to an earlier version? I tried following the instructions here (OSX Rollback Update) but that doesn’t work because the app says it’s incomplete or corrupted. I suspect that’s a new byproduct from macOS Mojave’s security settings.
Thanks for posting this. However, now it says i have an error and won’t sign me in. Boy, plex really screwed the pooch on this update. And the ROKU app blows as well. I’m so disappointed.
I just ran into Plex Server crashing after update to 1.14.0.5470.
After several unsuccessful tries of starting after a complete reset, a rollback to PlexMediaServer-1.13.9.5456-ecd600442-OSX get the server running again.
My question is: Is the issue identified ? Will it be fixed in the next version ? How will I know?
