Updated to latest PMS, enabled delete media but still can't delete empty collections

Not being able to delete collections is a bug. thought it would get fixed sooner but I don’t have an ETA.

Like deleting playlists that setting does not need to be enabled to do so.

It’s fixed in the beta of 1.22.2 – you’re on 1.22.1… so it’s not yet fixed there.
As somebody in a different thread put it: switch to the beta or wait for the public update :wink:

so the fix is held behind a pay wall currently? almost worth it just to get beta and cancel. broken â– â– â– â–  drives me nuts.

Let’s curb it down a notch… nobody’s holding anything back. Imagine the shitstorm you’d like to get started if they release it without running it through the beta channel first and actually break something essential. We’re currently talking about you not being able to delete a collection – not the end of the world. No need to indulge or create any conspiracy-theories.

wasnt getting at it that way. Love fix is out. When the program decides on its own to create a collection for every movie added on its own sorta sucked you couldnt del them for a week.
and update that caused this got past the beta channel lol

Just disable the automatic collection creation.

  1. Open the advanced library settings (⋮ > Manage Library > Edit... → Advanced)
    • “Plex Movie” agent:
      Set Minimum automatic collection size to Disabled
    • “Plex Movie (legacy)” and “The Movie Database” agents:
      Disable/uncheck Use collection info from The Movie Database
