I often delete collections and create new ones to highlight random material. Until today there was no issue. Today I can’t delete any collections, full or empty.
I’ve been working in the Movie Library - Legacy Agents. I grabbed the log below and will try the TV Show Library(s)(I have two) :
Same Deal - can’t delete Show Collections either - not captured in logs.

I think I saw this was a bug that will be fixed in an upcoming server release (though not the latest one evidently) … I can’t delete collections either.
Ah… missed that - somehow.
I remembered seeing some post on this also, think 1.22.2.x will have a fix for it.
Broken in version 1.22.1.4200. Still broke in 1.22.1.4228

Juice, if you use pmp and play directly from your desktop to a LG CX will the output of the player support Dolby Vision/HDR and TrueHD audio/atmos audio?

FYI: As referenced in the other post, a fix is expected to be released in v1.22.2.xxxx for plex pass users in beta next week.
I am running 1.22.1.4228 and the problem is still there.
Echoing @anon5074910 … it will be the 1.22.2.XXXX version with the fix.

I have no confidence 1.22.2 will be the cure.

I wasn’t really expecting it - so I’m not that surprised.

updated to 1.22.2 but still can’t delete empty collections in plex … still kicks back error message “There was a problem deleting this item.”

doing the same on ubuntu server. Now remote access is not available. Someone posted it on downdetector but not here. Maybe they are related.

Hmm, it’s working on my end. Could you supply some server logs?

It was an empty collection so I tried adding an item to it to see if that made a difference but got the same result. Here are logs downloaded right after collection deletion failed.

The fix is in 1.22.2.4262.
Dangit… I reinstalled yesterday’s release instead of todays release… excuse me while I go bang my head on the desk for a bit.
With the correct version it’s working fine.
