Unable to delete a collection

trying to delete a collection and im getting an error message:

I have removed the movie..did the plex dance, re-added the movie and still am unable to delete that collection
ideas??

Not much to go on, but there may be another movie in the collection. If you view your movie library by collection and select the subject collection is there a movie listed? Once you delete all movies from a collection - actually remove the collection tag from all the movies’ properties - and refresh your server settings (refresh browser) the collection should be gone

There’s already a number of threads. This issue was confirmed and has been fixed in the latest public and beta releases of Plex Media Server:

  • public: 1.22.1.4275
  • beta: 1.22.2.4276

Juice is correct… the public branch has not yet received this fix. From what I understand it’ll be available in the public release of PMS 1.22.2!

Any idea if issue with not able to delete collections will be fixed soon?? I have a lot of broken collections that need to be deleted

The server version with the fix has already been released as a beta version.

This means it might be available publicly in a few days
(unless there is a show-stopping bug identified in it, in which case there will be another beta version first.)

The new update was installed and I am now able to delete collections
