Can you please provide a screen shot of this error message?
I have seen one other report of it.
Also please provide your firmware version and other appropriate QNAP specific details

Firmaware Version: 4.3.4.0675 build 20180810
CPU: Annapurna Labs Alpine AL212 Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU @ 1.70 ghz

This is the file that was directly downloaded from the Plex Media Player

Does the checksum match?
Yes checksum is matching
There is a way to install IF YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN your download is both correct and not damaged.
You can attempt to install it via the command line and bypass App Center. This will tell you if the issue is with App Center or the package itself.
- Upload the file to a share on your NAS
- Open a shell & sign in to it.
- Change the permission of the qpkg file to
chmod +x(allow execution) - Now “execute” the package. “./plexmediaserver-blah-blah.qpkg”
- If it installs, the issue is with App Center which you can report to QNAP.
- If it fails to install, you either have the wrong package for your system or a much larger problem
Thanks for all the help I went through the steps and everything worked fine. Looks like I will be reporting issue with snap
Thank
Jeff
Before doing so, do reapply the PMS in AppCenter, using another browser…
Could be a Plugin to your browser, since I just tested with browser upload to an x31P QNAP, using Chrome with the exact same version of PMS as you did, and it worked just fine
I will have to give that a try on the next update to see if it works here as well
You can simply re-apply on top without any risk
I actually tried on another Mac and in fact it did install
