I would like to suggest that the existing status link on the plex.tv home page is expanded/improved to provide more relevant information for Plex Media Server users.
There are lots of issues currently around the new EPG and some other App development which are constantly raised in the forum often multiple times as users don’t necessarily read other posts before posting their own issues.
Presumably developers use a Development/Bug Tracking Platform or Helpdesk System that records any reported bugs (or features) and the status of resolution. If this Helpdesk software was made visible to registered Plex Pass users as a minimum.
I know this can be done as I did it myself with our Helpdesk software as the IT Manager looking after a Emergency Service IT Department . This mirrored certain information about reported incidents to an intranet web page with current status, severity index and target fix time.
This may go a long way to resolve the current dissatisfaction by end users about information updates and multiple reporting of the same issue through the forum. Plex Contributors to the forum like SA2000 could refer posters to the relevant ticket for a full inforamation update.
