I’ve tried 10 different movies since upgrading my server this afternoon, I am 10/10 with error code.
Reinstalled Plex on the PS4.
Downloaded Server software and ran a repair on the install.
Rebooted server.
Enabling and Disabling DNLA.
Rolling back to an older version of server (1.3.4.3285-b46e0ea).
Enabling and disabling direct play and direct stream.
Enabling and disabling Subtitles.
Server is a Win 7 Ult. box
TV shows appear to play without issue so far, only movies seem to fail.
Movies I have played without issue on Plex before update are all failing to play.
I can provide more logging if needed. I did successfully get 1 movie out of the last 20+ to play.
Here is a fresh verbose log capture with 3 failed movie attempts.

Won’t play any of my movies, regardless if they have subtitles. This is crap that Plex doesn’t have support that will actually help you. This forum user help yourselves stuff is bull ■■■■.
Also having the same issue after updating. Only happens on some files, but on PS4 and on PC Web App
I’m extremely disappointed in the Plex teams lack of action on this issue.
Plex members using their PS3 / PS4 are basically screwed out of the service we are paying for. I’ve gone from looking to a lifetime subscription to looking into canceling my service… I’ll used the refund to buy a longer HDMI cable and just use that to run my movies from my Home Theater server.
This has been an ongoing issue for over a month, PS4 and Home server are current with updates, and yet nothing has been resolved.
