Upgrading... Again

Hi,

I’m not terribly active on these forums, mostly a lurker… But my setup is starting to get a little stale and I’m looking to expand.

I currently have:

Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
AMD FX-6300 - 3.5GHz - 6 Cores - 6348 Passmark
G.Skill F3-10666CL9 - 4GB (2x2GB) - DDR3 - 1333MHz
Western Digital Black - WD1502FAEX - 1.5TB - System
Western Digital Green - WD40EZRX - 8TB Dynamic Raid (2x4TB) - TV
Western Digital Red- WD80EFZX - 8TB - Movies

At my house I have at most 3 concurrent streams via Xbox One, Chromecast, Android (phone/tablet)

However, I also have 6 external users. 3 of which connect almost every evening.

I would like to start looking at business class servers for my setup, but I thought I would reach out to the community for any recomendations.

If you could mention what shortcomings or problems you might be trying to overcome with your current setup, people might have a better idea of what you might need to do.

Your current PMS server seems reasonable for supporting a few 1080 streams. You didn’t mention your OS (64-bit Windows ??) but you would probably want at least upgrade to 8 GB RAM depending upon what else you might be trying to do on that same box.
