USB IR is working .. and not

Hey folks,

 

I've running 0.5.1 on a PI B+ normally without issues.

 

Yesterday I had a "cold interrupt" (power failure) and after getting back power and booting of the PI, the USB IR remote is no longer working.

 

I already did serval reboots via ssh, but the USB IR won't come back again.

 

Oh, the remote and receiver are ok, working fine on a WIN laptop.

 

Any suggestions (like checking the driver or the module is up and running or so) ?

The power failure may have corrupted your SD card, suggest reflashing, if you want to keep your existing settings copy the guisettings.xml in the Userdata folder to a local machine and then copy back when you have rebooted with the newly flashed image and Restart, you will have to run pre-cache again.
