Does anyone know if it is possible to create a sync list for a user. This way each time I move my server or move to a new one I don’t have to go through my movies 1 by 1 to sync them to a user.
If you move your server correctly to a new machine, you will not have to redo any of this. Your server won’t even know it’s been moved.
I am not entirely sure what you are asking, but here is the answer to my interpretation of your question:
If you move your Plex server to a different/new machine, you can move PMS in a way, so you don’t have to re-create any shares and/or Syncs.
Conditions: The move must happen within a platform architecture e.g. Windows->Windows, or Synology NAS -> Synology NAS
The media files need to keep their “path” i.e. on Windows they need to be readable using the same drive letter/foldername/filename as they had on the old machine.
The server installation on the old machine must never be used again (or made to look like a new installation, but that is another topic).
