i have following problem. As my upload bandwith is limited to 2MBits i'm making multiple copies of my movies/series and have them in each of my places seperatly. As i do a lot of metadata myself because i have a lot of special video data there is no way to simply "duplicate" an existing media library.
Is there a way to use another plex media server as supplier for metadata? This would be just awesome!

Looks like the best solution for you would be to use the XMBC nfo exporter. This way you just add all your metadata on nfo files and can move your files around with a sure way to get all your special metadata without any fuss.
My current templates for nfo metadata are as follow:
Movie (named the exact same as the movie file)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>Series (always named tvshow.nfo)
<sort_title></sort_title>
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>Episode from a series (named excatly as the as the episode)
Well the actor name is useless (not registered in Plex) in the episodedetails but I keep hoping one day it will work.
