We love Plex, I have all of our files stored on our Dropbox account and have our Plex account linked to it. However, the dropbox account shows up on my laptop and is taking alot of my storage space. If I take drop box off my laptop, will that interrupt the connection between Plex and my dropbox account? I’m guessing it won’t but just want to get some feedback before I delete it on my laptop. I hope I explained that well…thanks in advance!

Since your mounting Dropbox to the laptop, and Plex see it as a drive on your laptop.
Hhhhmmm…is there a way for Plex to just draw the files from my dropbox account without it being on my laptop? Feels like that’s the whole idea! Thanks for your help:)
You need DropBox installed on the system that runs Plex Media Server. PMS must be able to see the files.
