The custom filter feature works very well when I want to limit my selection to titles having two actors appearing together, or a particular actor under a particular director (like “Actor is Cary Grant and Director is Alfred Hitchcock”).
But suppose I want to create a combined selection with movies featuring either/any of two or more actors?
The custom filter rules are all AND rules. Why can’t I specify OR rules? That way, I could create a custom filter that says, "Give me every movie that has Clark Gable in it and either Claudette Colbert or Vivien Leigh. The filter would then return Gone With the Wind and It Happened One Night, at least from my own library.
