Using Plex to record YouTube TV, is it compatible?

I’m considering cancelling my cable and replacing it with YouTube TV.
When I look at the Discover tab it list YouTube but does not actually state YouTuve TV.
Will I be able to use Plex DVR for recording programs?

No. You are just seeing the Youtube Streaming service. If you click anything that you find in that row it will just take you to Youtube’s streaming website outside of the Plex ecosystem, not Youtube TV.

You will not be able to record anything from there from within Plex. You can only record stuff that it receives from your OTA antenna via certain tuner devices or your cable subscription via certain tuner devices with a cable card.

I was afraid of that. I guess I will have to think this through completely before jumping.
