Still an issue for me, too.

Still happening on Android client 9.8.0, server 1.28.2.6151

Yup sure has, I assumed that I had DB issues and put aside some time to tinker, after faffing around and making no headway I checked the forum and found this, not the easiest issue to search for.
Probably spend more effort on the forums search next time… live & learn, all that…
FWIW - and may be unrelated, but the issue with the managed accounts not respecting subtitles on/off settings occurred again around the same time, could be coincidence.
Today’s beta (9.8.2.35199-beta) mentions (I think) a fix for this:
Display correct information about the selected item on home page.

Here is a video of my Fire Stick 4k doing the same thing.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Confirmed 9.8.2.35199-beta fixed the issue for me. Using a nvidia shield as my client.
