V9.7.0.34644: Title+Description snippets are mismatched for TV shows on the homepage hubs

This appears to be tied to only TV shows, and it started right after I updated to version 9.7.0.34644 on my 2017 shield.

I cleared cache, cleared data, reinstalled, etc.. No change.

what version number is your server?

Version 1.28.2.6106, and the issue was there prior to just updating to this version

I have the same issue as well Plex version 9.7.0.34644 on my Shield TV and Tivo 4k Stream. Plex Server version 1.28.1.6104 and 1.27.2.5929 as well.

My Apple TV does not have this issue.

Same issue here. Logs already provided to devs.

Same here, but haven’t tried on today’s SHIELD beta. Just wanted to say this seems to only happen with TV shows, and not with all TV library hubs either. Weird bug…

Im having the same issue.

@OhMyBahGosh I noticed you’re using PMM, would you mind sharing your source for pulling the recently premiered series? That sounds an awesome collection to have.

Is it a trakt list?

Good to see this already posted. I thought my database had gotten corrupted or something. I added two series to my server yesterday and instead of seeing “Season 1” when I highlight those cards in the “Recently Added” hub it’s displaying the title and synopsis of the third item on the row (an individual episode of another series).

Then I opened PlexHTPC on my laptop and… yeah, it’s working fine there.

Server 1.25.9.5721 here.

Curious how many of you have custom hubs ( made from collections) and/or rearranged the hubs from default order.

Both here. Created the custom hubs and moved the order above the Recently Added TV Shows.

Basic 3 libraries with default pinned order on the sidebar (home, movies, tv and music) and I see this issue. Don’t use collections at all. Started happening immediately after upgrade to 9.7.0.34644 as OP mentioned.

… and the issue is with the third one, Recently added in TV. It gets all mixed up with title + description text. The others are all okay.

There cannot be a huge number of code changes between 9.7.0.34644 and the previous version before this issues was introduced.

Code review of the check-in changes should find it relatively quickly …
