With the recent release of tvOS v2.4 (12618) beta and PMS v1.16.0.1226, VC1 and MPEG2 Video is broken with the enhanced video player enabled. Works fine with the public release of tvOS v2.3.
Could you please reproduce the issue again and immediately after share with me logs from both the app and the server? Thanks!
Hey @sergiou87 I’m seeing the same thing certainly with VC1.
I have to head out now but will try and identify if its particular codecs then will grab some logs when I’m back home later today.
I cant guess what @x64Man means actually by broke (kind of vague) however in my case playback is fine if left alone. When seeking though is when the issues start. Playback never resumes at all and I’m forced to hard exit from Plex. Then sometimes a restart of the ATV 4K itself to even get Plex to load again.
I don’t think its the files themselves as they all resume fine in Infuse and indeed in Plex with advanced player OFF seeking is also fine.
Anyway sorry I cant get more details now but as mentioned when I get home I will do some more troubleshooting and pass on logs.
Thanks @Xhaka! But I don’t think it’s necessary anymore, issue found and fixed

Perfect timing as I just got home.
Thanks so much for the fast release @sergiou87
I have no idea why I mentioned VC1 yesterday as it was actually AVC I had issues with.
Anyway my vast AVC collection and the few VC1 movies I own, all now play fine.

Another day another win for Plex on tvOS.
All is good for me now as well, thanks for the fast fix.
