I have been a user of Plex for a very, very long time now. Of all the Plex apps, the Xbox One app is the only one that has consistently given me problems. I appreciate the minor updates that were added in recent releases with regards to navigation, and of course, the wonderful introduction of Live TV. However, the fact that I still cannot reliably watch my Plex DVR content with or without Direct Play and Direct Streaming enabled, as well as the other known issues with green/pink artifacts when watching Blu-ray rips has me very frustrated.
I use my Xbox One as my primary entertainment device in my entertainment room; where I have the most expensive surround sound speaker setup, 4K HDR OLED TV, and high-end receiver. It’s very frustrating to me that I can only reliably use Plex on my Roku or other non-Xbox One devices. I truly hope you can resolve this myriad of issues soon. Otherwise, the Xbox One app is about to exhaust my patience and I suppose I’ll need to hookup a Roku in the entertainment room too (sigh).
