Vidaa update, now can't connect

About an hour ago my HiSense smart Tv updated the plex app, and when I signed back in I was no longer able to connect. The error I originally got was “…make sure that the secure connections preference is not set to Required.”. I went and changed to preferred, but that gives almost the same error but now it’s “…make sure the secure connections preference is not set to Disabled”. I can’t set my server to disable secure connections, only required or preferred and neither makes any difference, the TV won’t find the server.

PC and mobile devices have no problems, both work fine. Remote devices work fine, local devices work fine, just not my TV which was working fine this morning.

There are (as far as I know) no other settings that I can change here, the new client is just apparently incompatible with Plex
