Server Version#: 1.19.4.2935 on Synology DS1019+ running DSM 6.2.3-25426
Player Version#: 7.1.1 (15801)
Issue happens with all kinds of different files. Trying to track down whether it’s the server running on my Synology, or the client running on my Apple TV 4K. Both are up to date.
When playing videos, buffer suddenly runs out, the video pauses, and then after a while, Plex client drops out of play mode.
I’ve attached a small part of verbose logs from both the server and the client, as the non-verbose logs didn’t show anything useful.
Verbose logs - Useless
the Verbose logs you select - even more Useless
Disable Verbose - do NOT enable unless specifically asked to do so, by the person that’s going to read them.
Enable Debug
Recreate the problem.
Wait 5 minutes.

Made those changes. So far stable. It generally messed up after a few episodes being played. I’ll keep it going, and post if/when it happens again. I’ve confirmed that the LAN IP settings you recommended are now active, as the logs now show this:
I think this is a related behavior. Sometimes, instead of just dropping out of the player and back to the menu, it will display an error stating that the connection is not fast enough to stream this video. It should be captured in the attached DEBUG logs, now that VERBOSE is disabled. Thanks for all the help in trying to diagnose this!
Attached are the clean logs. Restarted the server on the Synology box, and then let it sit for 10 minutes without any interaction. Working on reproducing the issue now. Thanks so much for taking a look!
Started playing at 20:03:50.
Paused by itself at 20:15:20, buffer likely ran out; cannot stream because the connection is not fast enough.
Resumed by itself at 20:18:10.
Logs pulled at 20:25.
Server is already set to prefer the bonded connection, and not running as a Docker container. The only Docker container I’m running is Transmission-OpenVPN, which does indeed use the Docker bridge.
I think have seen the Docker bridge interfere with things. Not sure what to do regarding that.
Those HTTPS errors are for a friend’s shared server.
