Video: None Audio: None Subtitle: None

Server Version#: 1.13.8.5395
Player Version#:

This problem was starting to occur on any new movie or show I put in my PMS Drobo File location.

Now it has spread through every video I have on my PMS.

PLEX “sees” every movie and show, downloads the metadata, even indicates where I was in my viewing, but the VIDEO, AUDIO, and SUBTITLE information shows NONE. Playback attempts generate a playback error.

Take a look at the media info in Plex.

It shows you where Plex is expecting the file to find.
Is the file still accessible under this exact path and file name?

I took a look. The path revealed in PLEX indeed has file(s) at that locations. See below:

I guess we need to look at server log files.

  1. activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
  2. quit Plex Server
  3. wait 1 minute
  4. start Plex Server
  5. wait 2 minutes
  6. either analyze one movie or Plex Dance one movie in your library
  7. wait 3 minutes
  8. fetch log files and attach them here

You need to repair it.

And please disable ‘verbose’ logging.

That may have worked, however, even after a reboot, I can not run PMS. It shows momentarily then instantly closes.

Was Plex server closed during the repair procedure?

New set of log files may contain clues.

Yes.

I’ll get the log files when I can.
