Are there any plans to support a user-level setting that requires a password in order to log out of the app?
I have curated a customized library of local content for my children, but all of these restrictions are MOOT as long as the managed user is able to log out of the app entirely. This allows any child to simply browse the entire Plex ad-supported streaming ecosystem as a Guest and access all sorts of inappropriate material. I was able to get to literal porn within 3 clicks. This is a MAJOR gap in parental control functionality.
As an alternative, is there any way to identify the IP addresses of Plex’s video on-demand content, so I can block them from my local network and only allow local streaming?
Similar thread. Never received confirmation if this works. Also, you might need to block names, not IP addresses, as the IP addresses may change over time (the address listed for plex.tv changed when I refreshed the web page).
