I want to convert a 4K video into a format that can be viewed by an iOS device. Some can be converted and some prompt “invalid metadata”, what does this mean. What do I need to do to optimize the playback version properly?
If the file is like the one from your other post, Plex cannot transcode Dolby Vision Profile 5 videos. Use different files if you need transcoding or optimization. Either HDR10 or SDR should work.
