I’m encountering issues where videos that play on Android and other devices, will not play back on the Xbox One. This is the issue no matter the DirectPlay/Stream settings (Disabled or Enabled).
Hi there. Sorry to hear you’re having playback issues. What exactly happens when you try to play an item? Could you enable server logging in the app, and then post server logs of an attempt at playing something. Thanks!
Thanks for responding, I’m typically getting ‘Playback Error, There was a problem playing this item.’ This is happening whether I enable or disable Direct Play/Stream. These same files, not playing on the Xbox One are playing fine in apps like the Plex add-on for Kodi and the Android Plex. I am having this problem as well. I can access my plex server media from my computer (local and remote), my phone (local,remote,4G), and my tablet(local,remote), but my xbox one cannot play any of the content.
