Playback Issue on Xbox One X

I am having issues with direct play on my xbox one x on certain videos. From what I can tell, it is on 1080p 5.1 hevc mp4 files. I had no issues playing these files in the past, but over the last week or so, when I attempt to play, the file just keeps buffering. I the rare occasion that it plays, there is no sound. These same files are able to be direct played on my android phone (pixel 2 xl), and transcoded to my Chromecast. I have changed the settings to not allow direct play or direct stream to my xbox one x, but it still doesn’t play. The only way I can get the files to play on my xbox is to force transcoding to 720p.

On top of this, I am not able to play these same files on the Chrome browser, or Plex app for Windows 10 but am able to play them in Firefox browser.
