Video Preview Thumbnails is not refresh if "skip next" button is used to go to next episode

Hello,

Issue - Video Preview Thumbnails is not refreshed if the skip next icon or button is used before the next episode auto play countdown.

Step to reproduce (at least on my GTV/AndroidTV):

  1. Watch some series, example episode 2 of 5,
  2. Try the video preview thumbnail to see if it shows the correct episode preview (this should work)
  3. Skip to next episode using the skip next button.
  4. Try the video preview thumbnail to see if it shows the correct episode preview (this will fail and shows previous episode preview thumbnails instead.)

Bug is very much reproducible on my android TV and Google TV Plex Player.

Issue reported using this devices based on the reddit: AppleTV, Shield, GTV, AndroidTV, FireTV
Note: Issue is not regression but seen since at the earliest few years ago.

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7349
Player Version#: 9.30.0.3604

I’m having the same issue but on mobile devices. No news on any fix yet?

The issue has been years. Plex is not responsive. This should reflect their product to potential subscribers.
