Recently, the video preview thumbnails have stopped popping up. I don’t even have a blank windows, just the timestamp. This seemed to happen about the same time that my PlexPass subscription expired because my credit card was lost, not sure if it’s related. I have renewed by sub but still no thumbnail previews. Anyone else having this issue?
I think that video thumbnails might be a plexpass feature, silly question but have you tried turning them off and then back on on the server?
@slydog75 Have you checked in another client (Plex Web for example) that the video preview thumbnails show up there? If not it’s possible they’re not being created for your newly added media or have been deleted for your library?
Some of my shows don’t have thumnails or season artwork within the Xbox One app, too. They indeed have artwork within the Plex web app.
The thumbnails show up as little broken image symbols in season view, and don’t appear at all within episode view.
I did a hard reboot last night and they are working again. Thanks everyone
