hey guys,
i installed a qnap ts228 and set up plex today. it works like a charm when used with the PC, but the ps4 can almost play none of the video files. the error message is in the title, and i bet you guys get that question alot.
what i did so far:
- all the streaming settings are set to “original”, so its not the no.1 tip to increase the bandwith.
- i can almost exclude its the format, since videos which plex wont play can be played with the ps4 media player
one thing i wondered about too was: when i accessed plex via the pc and saw that the ps4 was playing a movie, it said “throttled” in the corner - maybe i oversaw some settings and its the bandwith after all?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
