Videos in Photos Crash Plex Media Player

We like to listen to music while browsing photos in Plex. It works great until we browse to a video file which starts playing automatically. This results in the music stopping and not resuming again or crashing Plex player completely.

(The photos and videos are uploaded using the Plex iOS app and are located on a SMB share on Synology NAS connected via gigabit LAN to the SHIELD which acts as server and player)
