I have the latest Plex Server for Windows installed and the last update seemed to have labeled some of my videos with the wrong codex and I can’t seem to change it. They worked fine for months and years, suddenly now unwatchable.
These are all the same file type and from the same source and some files are listed as WMV2 and others WMV1.
The files listed with Video at WMV2 do not play correctly and look at blocky and unwatchable. Some of the SAME files are labeled WMV1 and those play correctly.
So how can I manually change the codex used on some of the files from WMV2 to WMV1?
any ideas to try? All the files play fine if not using Plex, so the files are OK.
