Imagine if you could create a new library of type “Virtual Movie Library” to show up just like you would a movie or tv library. But instead of defining a specific folder of movies to add, you could drag and drop movies from other libraries of the same type into this new library without ever having to change your existing folder structure.
This is similar to collections functionality, but collections have been buried away so far in all of the Plex clients, that it is almost unusable. What we want is to easily create a library (at the same level as other existing libraries) and pick and choose the items we want in that library. For example, I have a movie Library, that consists of a couple folders (which are needed to space my library out over several drives). This is a nice feature, but I would also like to create a “Kids Movies” library that contains all the family friendly stuff, but I would like to do it without having to parse all my drives and move my media around. This also has the added benefit of leaving the “Kids Movies” to also exist inside the “All Movies” library.
